Privacy policy

This policy explains how SettleWay Solutions (“SettleWay”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through settleway.in. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form we collect:

your name and mobile number;
the approximate range of your total outstanding debt;
any message you choose to write;
the page you submitted the form from and the time of submission; and
your consent to be contacted about your enquiry.

Enquiry forms are delivered to our inbox by our form-processing provider, Web3Forms, which receives your submission directly from your browser and processes it to send it to us. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security.

Our free tools (EMI calculator, settlement readiness check and complaint-letter generator) run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us unless you submit a call-back request, in which case a short summary of your eligibility-check answers is included.

If you become a client, we will collect further information needed to work on your case, such as loan and card statements. We will explain this to you at that time.

How we use it

to contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp about your enquiry;
to assess your situation and explain the options available to you; and
if you engage us, to provide our services, including communicating with your lenders on your behalf.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate the website and receive enquiries (our hosting provider, Web3Forms for form delivery, and Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics), only as needed for that purpose;
your lenders or their representatives, only when you have engaged us and asked us to act for you; and
authorities, where we are required to by law.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this website — for example which pages and tools are helpful, and how many enquiries are submitted. Analytics cookies are set only if you click “Accept analytics”. If you decline, or haven’t chosen yet, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that does not store identifiers on your device.

We never send your name, phone number, debt details or messages to Google Analytics, and we do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in your browser.

Security and retention

Forms on this site are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement and any period required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, or raise a grievance about how your data has been handled. Email info@settleway.in and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. See also our disclaimer.
